  • East Ridgelawn is open for visitation 7 days a week 8AM-530PM. The mausoleum is open 7 days a week 8AM-4PM. Menorah is open every day, except Sat, 8AM-4PM.

  • East Ridgelawn & Menorah are non-profit cemeteries.

  • There is only one office (located at the Main Ave entrance to East Ridgelawn) but we run both East Ridgelawn and Menorah.

  • The direct address to Menorah is 614 Passaic Ave, Clifton, NJ 07014. It is directly across the street from East Ridgelawn's back gate.

  • The cemetery is unable to monitor decorations & personal items left on gravesites. We do not recommend leaving anything of high value as the cemetery is public grounds. Please keep in mind that anything left behind is the responsibility of the visitor.

  • Pets are not allowed on cemetery ground. Only service dogs are permitted.

  • No open flames, including barbecues, allowed.

  • No alcoholic beverages on grounds.

  • If you would like to purchase graves, niches, or crypts, an appointment must be set up. Same day appointments may be available, but one to two days is preferential, especially if it is a pre-need situation.

  • Stones must follow cemetery guidelines. If you are unsure of what the guidelines are, please contact the office and we will be happy to tell you what is permitted in the section you are inquiring about.

  • Sketches & measurements of stones must be sent to the cemetery office from the monument company to be approved.

  • Foundation fees for stones must accompany paperwork from monument company.

  • Stones must be set by a local, licensed monument company.

  • All Christmas decorations are removed February 1st.

  • Holiday specific decorations will stay for 30 days before being removed.

  • Flags not in flag holders are permitted between Memorial Day and the 4th of July. All other times of years, flags must be in flag holders.
